The VPA Variable Pitch Connector is a versatile, field‑adjustable solution for connecting rafters to the wall top plate. It adjusts in the field to accommodate slopes between 14 degrees and 45 degrees, making it a complement to the versatile LSSR Rafter Hanger.

Installation
- Use all specified fasteners
- Install top nails and face PAN nails in “A” flange to outside wall top plate. Seat rafter with a hammer, adjusting “B” flange to the required pitch. Install “B” flange nails in the elongated nail holes, locking the pitch
- Install 40mmx3.75mm nail into tab nail hole. Hammer nail in at a slight angle to prevent splitting
- For I-Joist, bend tab with hammer and install 40mmx3.75mm nail into tab nail hole. Hammer nail in an approximate 45° angle to limit splitting
